Father Time

Okay, holy shit. THIS is the reason of my inactivity as of late. I swear, I've NEVER done an image on THIS HUGE of a scale before... Bwah.

Okay, you know how I've got all these deity characters and stuff? Well, the hierarchy of these guys from lowest to highest goes like this: Deity -> God -> Almighty. There are only two Almighties: Gaia (Mother Earth) and Chronos (Father Time). This is Chronos. Say hello, Chronos.
Chronos: Don't tell me what to do, mortal.
m20: oh... okay... ._.;;

Anyway, Chronos is a bit of an uptight fellow, and he's been around ever since Dreamworld was created. (The fictional world, not the comic) He's married to Gaia, and he's the father of all the original Gods (most of which have already died by now) as well as some of the current ones. Unlike all of the other Divinities, Chronos actually ages at the same rate as mortals do. And then he un-ages. And then he ages again. And so on and so forth. He enjoys orchestra music and walks on the beach. He doesn't like yappy little dogs.

Stuff I'm happy with:
The shading on his skin, and the overall composition.

Stuff I'm not so happy with:
The awkward positioning on some of the gears in the background.

Sketched with a .7 mm mechanical pencil
Inked with a black papermate felt tip pen and Staedtler Mars professional pens
