This will probably be the cover for Post-Mortem, which is my new comic project, revolving around Thaxter and Grimm's story. I've laid out a couple of pages traditionally already, and I plan to finish them up digitally, so I may end up posting those sometime in the future (when I'm not so bogged down with college work, lol).
On an artistic standpoint, I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out. This was my first time using Photoshop CS to this extent (I normally use Photoshop 5.5, but that died on me...) so it was pretty fun getting to know this new program from the ground up.
Some of you may recognize the background as part of a Google Sketchup model that I posted a while back: [link] ...I didn't just copy+paste the whole thing into Photoshop, because I thought that would be lazy. Instead, I took the time to paint over it and match the lighting and whatnot. Normally, I'm against tracing over pictures, but considering I made the model from scratch, I think I can change my standards a bit.
I think I might go back and tweak the logo in the upper right-hand corner. Some of the spacing seems off to me.
say, let's skype. C:
