This is Neshima, *Black-Wren's oc. I had a lot of fun drawing her, especially when it came to using her color scheme and portraying her spunky character. ;P

I tried that, but what eventually wound up happening was that my art style stretched regular anime body parameters a bit too much, so figure drawing just began to bite me in the arse lol

oh that happens to all of us. i find it best to just do a speed drawing and then fix it from there til you get about what you want, while still being able to draw it fairly quickly so that you dont get bored.

That's a good technique ;) I personally just start with a gesture drawing then break it down from there.

Thanks! Drawing active poses can be a bit difficult to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's lots of fun~ ;D
