Obviously you learnt a lot about dsiplaying scenes: nice job on perspective, better grasp in anatomy and the atmosphere. i think that is my fav part, how you played with lights and colours.
Too bad the media is not the same though.. Think you could do it with coloured pencils? I'm sure you could, you already showed you have good ways with the 1st piece already (like the lights in the bg). So it would have been nice to see this pict still in pencil - especially because almost everybody goes from traditional to digital, like it was an improvement on its own. Not in your case - as I mentioned it's obvious you didn't mean improvement by just switch tools but basic art skills too. Congrats for the semi-finals, it's well deserved in my opinion. ^^
