Bellemere

Lately, I've been on a One Piece kick, so I've been re-reading the manga. When I got to Volume 9 and read Nami's backstory, I saw Bellemere and I thought.... I HAVE to draw that HAIR!! Bellemere is one of the reasons why I stopped watching 4kids stuff. in the manga, she plays a HUGE role in Nami's backstory, telling her that "no matter what happens, never lose your ability to laugh" and "if you can survive, happy times... lots of 'em... will come your way!" while in the 4kids anime, she doesn't do that. >:[ She also doesn't smoke, she doesn't have the MACE logo on her shirt (not that it's visible here) and worst of all, in the manga she dies a horrible greusome bloody death protecting Nami and Nojoko, getting shot in the head by Arlong, but in the 4kids version, Arlong "sends her to the dungeon." WTF!?!?!!?? He's a goddam fish man PIRATE, not some king in a castle! >:[


Grah, anyway, Bellemere belongs to Eichiro Oda.
