Yaaay contest!

Hey-o, everybody, and sorry for the lack of activity here on dA. I've been distracted by a score of other things, including organizing events for the Japanese Culture Club at my school, which I'll talk about later.

Right not, I've got 112 messages in my inbox, 62 deviations to look at, and 3 notes to read. OTL And posting this journal to inform you all where I've been will probably add to that number, haha. Aah well, at least I won't be bored. Anyway, here's a taste of what's going on with me lately:

I went to go see Paranormal Activities on Wednesday. I'm still having troubles sleeping... OTL

Speaking of sleep, I had my first case of sleep paralysis yesterday at 4 in the morning. [link] It scared the living shit out of me, ohmygod. D; I wasn't able to move or speak, and I had hallucinations that my beedsheets were moving by themselves. And watching Paranormal Activities REALLY DIDN'T HELP. ;A; GAAAAHHH, I don't want that to ever happen again.

I bought some plastic sheet protectors on Friday. Plastic sheet protectors = love, because that's what I use to keep Dreamworld organized in "binder" form IRL.

There's a fire raging a couple of miles away from my neighborhood. Aah, California... The state of earthquakes, mudslides, drought, and wildfire. -w-;; Lovely. Simply lovely. At least we're near the ocean. I love the ocean.

Yesterday was FFFFFAWESOME. (aside from the sleep paralysis.) ~KindaConfuzzled, ~Midnight-The-Cat, and I organized an outing to the Japan Street Fair in our county. There were gaaaaaames and rooooobots and free stuuuuuuuff and akihabara maids who couldn't daaaaaaaance and muuuuuusic and fooooooooood and even sumo wrestling! xDD Although the advertisement said there would be a goldfish scoop game. They lied. >:C BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS FUN. A whole bunch of people went with us, like *VintageIceCream and her little sister and ~Pure-KitKat's sister and my mom (~gonkichi) and my brother ~makar21 and and and I even ran into ~broken-skin by pure coincidence, lol. Oh, and ~Midnight-The-Cat sumo-wrestled with one of my other friends who doesn't have a dA, and I shot a video of them duking it out. I'm uploading it onto Youtube right now, so I'll update this journal with a link later. EDIT: [link] ;D

I think that's about it, really. Now I'm off to go reply to all those messages I've got piled up in my inbox.
